Unhappy coach Thomas Dooley has six days to fix his Azkals team to face Nepal after a goalless draw
Azkals coach Thomas Dooley who was unhappy after the goalless draw against Malaysia in the international friendly at Rizal stadium has six days to fix his team before the clash with Nepal on March 28, 2017, in the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers at Rizal Stadium, Philippines.
Azkals struggled to break the Malaysian defense and were almost punished late in the game by Ahmad Bakwan Mazri who’s effort went wide much to the relieved of the home fans.
Though Nepal’s game is the most significant, a win against Malaysia after 26 years would have been a boost to the player’s confidence and a signal of intent to Nepal.
There is no doubt that Azkals has the right coach and the right players to pull triggers on Nepal, what is left is for them to use their 3-dimensional football training partner, the most advanced and realistic training equipment to simulate and fix their problem in the final third before the all important game.
