Rain or shine, let's support Azkals, support our clubs, be a PFL fan and make Philippine a footb

Why I’m writing about Philippine football?

The answer is that I’m a passionate and professional football person living in the Philippines with a strong commitment to contribute to the development of the game from the grassroots to the very top level using all my expertise! I’m a sports writer, a License football coach, a certified football manager and a football scout!

I see a lot of things happening here in football but unless we write and share them with other people, no body would know about it. Every kick of the ball is a news but unless we tell the story, no one would understand.

We have a lot of young football talents in this country but without someone scouting and writing about them, no body would take notice and the country would continue to miss out on those that could possibly be the hero that would take Philippine to FIFA world cup one day.

Now, let us talk about fans and support!

I was so impressed with the turned out in the Pana-ad stadium for the Ceres Negros FC Game versus Felda United in the AFC Cup match day 3! I saw the enthusiasm from Ceres fans from the beginning of the game to the end even when the result did not go the way we hoped for. Great job guys!

According to a writer for Spiked, the four core points of the ultra mentality are:

- never stop singing or chanting during a match, no matter what the result

- never sit down during a match

- attend as many games as possible (home and away), regardless of cost or distance

- loyalty to the stand in which the group is located

I hope to see many vibrant groups like the ultras Ceres in the coming PFL. I know Stallion Laguna FC is building something wonderful with the Lakeside Squad.

Ceres fans pushing their team to do more under the rain!

Great video from Global FC fans sometimes back in Cebu! Hopefully they would revive this community in the PFL season.

I’m using this opportunity to call on all the fan clubs and every football person to go out at Rizal stadium and through their weight behind Azkals as the take on Malaysia on March 22 in a friendly game at 7:30 pm before the showdown against Nepal in the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers on the 28 of March at 8:00 pm.
