HASSAN SUNNY JOINS HOME UNITED AHEAD OF AFC CUP CRUNCH TIE

Singapore: Goalkeeper Hassan Sunny has joined Singapore’s Home United ahead of the club’s 2017 domestic and AFC Cup campaigns.

Hassan joins the Bishan Stadium outfit after being released by Thai Premier League side Army United where the Singapore international custodian played for two seasons.

An S.League title winner with Warriors FC in 2014, Hassan has made over 60 appearances for his country, and played in all three of Singapore’s games at last year’s AFF Championship.

Hassan joins fellow recent arrivals Afiq Yunos, Izzdin Shafiq, Christopher Van Huizen and Stipe Plazibat in the Home ranks, with the Protectors busy preparing for their latest tilt at domestic glory and an eagerly anticipated AFC Cup Play-off clash with Cambodia’s Phnom Penh Crown on January 30.
